Last week we had a three-day-long field trip to a nearby island called Tokashiki, which was really fun, and the weather was nice. We went kayaking, snoogling and swimming. The beach is really beautiful with those interesting creatures, beautiful creatures, etc. We all enjoyed ourselves a lot.

I arrived Okinawa at night on Mar. 26, which was a nice day.
Great to be back in Okinawa, and see my classmates and my nice dorm again. :0)
It is quite a warm day today, with clear sky and warm sunshine. I love it.

一个多月前在日本买了一台十分小巧的Canon IXY Digital 50 (这是日本命名），在欧洲和中国它叫做Canon Digital IXUS 40， 400万像素，很是讨人喜欢。在日本本土的三天旅游中，它可派上了大用场，共用它拍了将近两百张的照片。下面秀秀它的样子：

2月15日至17日，我们到了大阪、京都、奈良三地游玩。说是到了大阪，实际上就在机场晃了晃，没来的及进去瞧瞧。倒是在京都看了不少的寺庙，感觉京都有三多，自行车多，寺庙多，乌鸦多。可惜就是逛金阁寺的时候下着大雨。最后一天去了奈良，东大寺里的鹿可真是多，挺可爱的。
We had a three-day-long trip in mainland Japan, and visited Osaka, Kyoto and Nara. In fact, we just passed kansai airport in Osaka, but we visited lots of temples in Kyoto, which is a nice place. There are lots of bicycles, temples as well as crows in Kyoto, which i found very interesting. However, it rained heavily when we visited the world-famous Golden temple (kinkakuji). The last day of our trip we went to Nara, and there are many deer in the East temple (Dong Da si).

Yesterday a German teacher ( who is an architect, and teach art education in the university) took us students to go around the city, observing different style of architectures in the city, which was very interesting.
We passed nicely-decorated little houses, noisy free markets, abandoned yards, tombs, newly-developed tall residence buildings, interesting bars, and we also visited an art studio, where some art works are exhibited.
We experienced the development of the city, from the destroyed old houses to abandoned parking lots.
It took us about 3 hours walking, but it was fun, for you can always find some interesting details from those places, even just a little hut.

One afternoon in this new year, i went to a Japanese temple and draw my fortune this year, and I got the best luck! :0) I brough it home and kept it in my wallet hoping the best luck accompanying me all this year!

This Christmas eve some classmates made some sweets and cookies, and knocked all the classmates' door, and sent them out, which were really sweet. :0) At about 11 o'clock, someone advised to go to karaoke together. Then 9 of us went to the karaoke place, and sang until 2:30 in the morning. On the way back home, someone said this Christmas is a bit depressing because there is no family. It was cold that night.
On Christmas night, we have a Christmas movie night. I watched ~ There is no thief in this world~, ~the girl next door~ , and then I went to a classmate's dorm to watch ~ Starsky and Hutch~, which is really interesting. What a Christmas movie feast! |
